The tour took place on time, as scheduled, and was very relaxed. The guide was attentive and careful with everyone. We visited 3 chateaus, and the tasting and guidance were very well done. The day trip was not only interesting but also very informative exceeding our ever expectation. Our guide, Laetitia, is extremely knowledgeable, not only about the wines of the Bordeaux region, but other French and foreign wine regions as well. For Laetitia this doesn't appear to be "just a job" but rather her hobby and passion and she went out of her way to make our day trip special for all of us in the small group of total strangers. We can not commend her more highly and would encourage anyone to make this day trip - preferably with Laetitia in the beautiful Mercedes van. Carol was a fabulous guide. The tour could have been better, though. One winery did not have a very goid product, although it was highly entertaining. Medoc us a huge region, 2 of 3 wines were the same appellation, and none were for highly popular wines like Paulliac or St Steph. Will still likely use this company again.
