Les Marais: French Tastes and Drinks Private Foodie Tour

Our guide Rodolfo was excellent and showed us very cool things and pointed out lots of great shops and restaurants that we tried later in our trip. The restaurants were chosen by the tour company and weren’t as exciting as we had hoped. The food was great at each of them, but they were a bit basic for us as we have a lot of experience with French food. I would have preferred letting the local guide choose the restaurants and markets to eat at to make it more interesting and unusual. Still, a five star experience! Would recommend!

Pablo led us through a delightful afternoon! First, he was patient with our late arrival, then showed us through the Larai district with fun conversation, lots of local knowledge, and a yummy choice of foods! Seamless experience all round

Firstly, I have to give a HUGE shout out to the company because I had mixed up the days of our tour. I contacted our initial tour guide to apologize, and both she and the company worked tirelessly to find us another guide. The communication and speed at which the company found us another tour guide AND honored our request to have the tour on our preferred date was truly above and beyond! Next, the tour: Our guide, Diana, was the most amazing guide ever. She was so kind, knowledgable, and friendly. The tour was for my mom and me. This was my mom's first time in Paris, and she wanted to do this tour to try classic French cuisine and explore the Les Marais neighborhood, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We loved the food (charcuterie board, French onion soup, escargot, crepes!) and trying different French wines at four different restaurants with fun stops along the way, Diana gave us additional time, and by the end of the tour, became like a friend to us! This is a must do!

Can’t recommend this enough! One of the best things we did in Paris. Susan was super knowledgeable and kind. We learned and ate SO much.

Our tour guide Achraf was right on time to begin our tour through a wonderful district. We started with a meat and cheese dish with our choice of wine. From there he showed us beautiful areas and a hidden park. Then we went to a cafe for a larger course and another glass of wine. He continued the tour past quaint shops and cafes. Our next stop had delicious profiteroles with ice cream! A true delight! We continued on to get crepes and enjoy them in a lovely park. At the end of the tour, he walked us back to an area that was easy to catch an Uber. This tour was everything I had hoped for and then some!

Brenda was an awesome guide. Very friendly, informative, and went out of her way to show us more than just food. Food was ok and was a good representation of French cuisine but walking around and learning about the area and architecture was probably our favorite part.
