Truffle Hunting in Provence

The tour was amazing! Very informtive and interesting with beautiful views over the oak and olive trees. The host is very charismatic and knows well how to share the knowledge he has. The truffle appetizers were delicious and in a good company is the best 3 hours to spend! Thank you!

The tour operator was extremely knowledgeable and personal. He tailored the tour to us so it really felt like a personal experience. By the end of the afternoon we were all laughing and joking like old friends. I also learned so much about truffles, truly this man is a fount of knowledge. Also, everything we tried was absolutely top-tier, from the champagne to the truffles to the cheese, olive oil, even the grape juice was incredible. If you're debating whether this tour is worth it . . . it is. Full stop. The impetus of our trip to Provence was in large part to go on this excursion. We found the excursion and built a trip around it. Thus you can understand that our expectations were very high, and every single one was met or exceeded. Do. Not. Skip.

Es war ausgesprochen interessant. Schon die Anfahrt und Lage sind ein Traum. Die kleine Gruppe der Gäste aus der ganzen Welt waren sehr sympathisch und der Guide hat es sehr unterhaltsam und ausführlich erklärt. Trüffelhunde hätte ich mir gänzlich anders vorgestellt 😀 sie waren sehr emsig und wir hatten eine gute Beute. Danach gab es Champagner und Trüffel in allen Versionen.

Truffles plus dogs—YES! Our experience was full of information, fun and delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the truffles, truffle farming, meeting the sweet truffle hunting dogs and enjoying the tasty truffle treats prepared by Johann and his wife at the end. A highlight of our trip to Provence!
