Our sightseeing journey begins with a tour of the city's harbors and the iconic Senate Square, home to the Lutheran Cathedral. We'll also visit the Parliament Building, Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument. Don't miss the chance to explore the unique Church-in-the-Rock. In the afternoon, you can opt for an excursion to the 18th-century Suomenlinna Fortress, a cultural treasure located on an island.

Today, we'll travel by train to Lappeenranta, a charming resort town by the shores of Lake Saimaa. Once a significant Swedish fortress town, Lappeenranta now attracts visitors with its historical Old Town, picturesque port area, and the Lappeenranta Fortress. After a walking tour of the town, we'll check into Hotel Scandic Patria or a similar hotel. In the late afternoon, we'll embark on a captivating evening cruise on Lake Saimaa, where you can enjoy dinner while soaking in the stunning lake views.

Spend the day exploring Lappeenranta at your leisure. Wander through the charming boutiques in the Old Town, sample the local Karelian cuisine, or simply relax by the port. In the late afternoon, we'll catch a train back to Helsinki. Upon arrival, we'll check into Hotel Glo Art or a similar hotel.
