Welcome to Chania! Arrive at your leisure and meet your local guide at the evening's welcome meeting. If you wish, join the group for an optional dinner. Your accommodation for the night is the Arkadi Hotel Chania (or similar).
Day 2 – Day 2: Chania to Omalos Plateau via Agia Irini Gorge

After breakfast, we'll journey inland to the majestic White Mountains, also known as Lefka Ori. Here, we'll hike through the lush Agia Irini Gorge, filled with ancient trees and diverse plant life. We'll then transfer to the elevated Omalos plateau, where you can enjoy the evening breeze and the occasional sound of a goat's bell. Our accommodation for the night is Hotel Neos Omalos (or similar).
Day 3 – Day 3: Omalos Plateau to Agia Roumeli via Samaria Gorge

Today, we'll hike the renowned Samaria Gorge, Europe's longest gorge and a highlight of any visit to Crete. We'll continue to the south coast and the town of Agia Roumeli, known for its pebble beach and clear turquoise waters. Remember to pack an overnight bag as your main luggage will be forwarded to our accommodations on day 4. Tonight, we'll stay at the Gigilos Hotel Agia Roumeli (or similar).
Day 4 – Day 4: Agia Roumeli to Loutro via Marmara

We'll embark on a scenic coastal walk, taking in the stunning landscape of southern Crete. In the village of Marmara, you can opt to have lunch at a taverna overlooking the sea. We'll then continue our hike to the picturesque village of Loutro. Our accommodation for the night is John Akroyiali Rooms Loutro (or similar).

Today is yours to explore the charming fishing village of Loutro, accessible only by sea or hiking trails. You can choose to relax in town or hike the Aradena Gorge. In the evening, we'll gather for a farewell dinner featuring traditional Cretan food and local house wine. You might even get the chance to try some Greek dancing! We'll spend another night at John Akroyiali Rooms Loutro (or similar).
Day 6 – Day 6: Loutro to Chania via Sfakia and Sweetwater Beach

We'll follow a coastal path towards Sfakia, where the mountains meet the sea. Along the way, we'll stop for a swim at Glyka Nera, also known as Sweetwater Beach. In the afternoon, we'll transfer back to Chania. Our accommodation for the night is Arkadi Hotel Chania (or similar).
