Today's excursion takes you to the central part of Malta, dominated by the medieval fortified city of Mdina. Wander through the narrow, winding streets, and admire the imposing bastions offering a magnificent panorama of the island. After a short ferry crossing, you will reach Mgarr Harbour on Gozo. Your guide will lead you around the megalithic temples of Ggantija, the oldest free-standing monuments in the world. Visit the medieval citadel in Victoria, the fjord-like bay at Xlendi, and the Azure Window at Dwejra. Gozo is well known for its crafts, particularly handmade lace and knitted garments. Immerse yourself in the island's lush countryside and serene atmosphere.

The day begins with a visit to one of Malta's oldest quarries, transformed into an attraction showcasing Malta's skill in using limestone for building purposes. Explore Hagar Qim, Malta's main pre-historic site, and take a boat trip to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting). After lunch, drive through local vineyards to the idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Stroll through the local market set out on its waterfront. Later, proceed to the cave at Ghar Dalam, where archaeologists have unearthed proof that Malta once formed part of the European landmass.
