Really good trip. You can choose your own pick up point which helps with early morning hours and then at the end of the trip they take you to the same pick up point from the morning which is really convenient. Komani Lake looked amazing on Google and it actually does look amazing in real life as well, not a scam. We went in August. We first considered renting a car and going by ourselves, but from Tirana it is a bit of a journey so I would 100% recommend going as a part of the group where you don’t have to worry about anything especially that some of the roads are pretty rough and once you get to the mountains, the roads are really really narrow and for someone who is not experienced with this kind of a nature it’s gonna be a massive stress. My mom is an amazing driver and she said she would manage but it would be a v tricky ride. Also you get more than enough time for yourself to enjoy food, sunbathe etc. as sometimes things are a bit in a rush, but no, you get to relax. Recommend!

I had a great adventure and saw some really beautiful scenery. Deo was a very friendly guide and made sure everyone was okay. The day was a little longer than I expected, but it was worth it for the views. Although there weren't any activities available at Shala River besides a short hike (as it's not tourist season now), it was very peaceful and beautiful. The boat trip was fun and at times exciting with the low water, but the way there was cold so bring warm clothes. The road is also very bumpy so if you get car sick it might not be for you!

Really a beautiful day, everything went according to plan. Our guide Ray was very helpful, calm, good driver and spoke good English. Note: bring warm clothes, on the water it is a lot colder. Chill moment is not really a walk, but more a lunch moment. Swimming was really very cold.
