Hiking tour of Theth & Blue Eye in 3 days

We kick off our adventure early in the morning, heading towards the Albanian Alps. As we journey through the wild fields, rivers, and rugged mountains, we'll take a detour to Theth, a rural area known for its medicinal herb cultivation. We'll ascend to Qafa e Thores, offering a stunning view of the Alps. After a short break, we'll hike to the Blue Eye, a natural wonder formed by the erosion of melting snow. We'll also visit the Old Church and the Lock in Tower, symbols of Theth's rich history. We'll spend the night in a traditional guesthouse (or similar) in Theth.

After breakfast, we'll embark on a hike to the Grunas Waterfall, a natural monument since 2002. The journey offers a glimpse into the daily lives of local villagers and their traditional stone houses. The waterfall, with its curtain of white water cascading over grey rocks, is a sight to behold. We'll return to Theth by midday, leaving you with a free afternoon to explore the National Park at your leisure. Overnight stay will be in Theth.

Enjoy a leisurely morning soaking in the stunning views of the Albanian Alps. Later in the day, we'll journey back through the mountainous terrain to Shkoder or Tirana. As we navigate the zig-zag roads, you'll have ample opportunities to reflect on the wonders of Albania and the unforgettable experiences you've had on this tour.
