Step into the heart of Gjirokaster, Albania, and immerse yourself in a hands-on vegetarian cooking class led by a welcoming local host. Your experience begins at Cerciz Topulli square, where you'll meet your group and stroll through the historic “Pazar i Vjeter” neighborhood to Marjeta’s charming home.
Upon arrival, enjoy a glass of raki or a soft drink as you get to know your fellow participants. Under Marjeta’s expert guidance, you’ll prepare three traditional vegetarian dishes: Qofte bobollaqe, a yogurt-based specialty, the unique rice dish Qifqi, and the sweet dessert Hasude.
As you cook, Marjeta shares stories and culinary secrets, making the session both educational and fun. A fresh seasonal salad, lovingly prepared in advance, complements your homemade creations, adding a burst of local flavor to your meal.
After your hard work in the kitchen, sit down together to savor each dish. Pair your meal with a complimentary glass of wine, raki, or a soft drink, and enjoy lively conversation in a cozy, authentic setting.
