Begin your journey in the charming Baroque town of Schärding. Take a leisurely stroll through the town, admiring the vibrant 'Silberzeile' - a row of colourful houses. Enjoy a cup of coffee at one of the many cafes in the town square. Don't miss the miniature versions of the 7 Wonders of the World scattered throughout the town. In the evening, attend a welcome meeting and collect your rental bike. Overnight stay at the Biedermeierhof (or similar).

Start your day with a refreshing cycle to Passau, a beautiful town at the confluence of three rivers. Enjoy the car-free pedestrian zone, regarded as one of Germany's most beautiful towns. Spend the afternoon at the 'Peb' adventure pool, one of the most spectacular pool facilities in Germany. Overnight stay at Hotel Passauer Wolf (or similar).

Today's journey takes you along the southern side of the Danube to Jochenstein. If the day is hot, take a detour to the outdoor swimming pool in Engelhartszell. Continue along the northern side of the Danube through the stunning Donauleiten Nature Reserve to Schlögen. Take a ferry to the other side of the river to reach your day's end. Overnight stay at Hotel Donauschlinge (or similar).

Today, cross over to the north side of the Danube and continue along the cycle path to Freitzeitland Linz, a leisure land with five bathing lakes. After a refreshing dip, continue through the 'vegetable patch' of Upper Austria, the basin around Eferding, past Ottensheim and Wilhering, to the provincial capital, Linz. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in one of the many restaurants. Overnight stay at ARCOTEL Nike (or similar).
Day 6 – Day 6: Linz to Schärding

Spend the morning exploring Linz, the provincial capital of Upper Austria. Visit the old town, explore the museums, or join in the special cultural programmes on offer.
