Chance of a lifetime to see this amazing village ❤️ Hallstat is stunning during our visit it was snowing which made it look like a fairytale village. Think it would look amazing on a sunny day too.
Only advice try to book after you have checked the weather forecast to get the most of the views. We could barely see the top of the mountains because of fog.
But still worth the distance and money
Top tip make a picnic and flask if you are watching your money as the cafes are very expensive. For a couple it was €15 for coffee and €15 for cake

Wonderful tour to Hallstatt with bonus information on Salzburg! The tour leader and driver were thoughtful, funny, and interesting. They were clear about hours and how to get to places during our time in Hallstatt. They also drove different ways to and from the village to let us see more of the countryside. The only thing I wish I'd done differently is take the all day tour to have spent more time t here.

It was a lovely half day trip where we saw the lake district of Austria. A wonderful town and well worth a visit. The guide was excellent. The tour company professional. Pointed out all the interesting sights. Halstatt was beautiful and the cable car and sky walk was worth the money. We also had snow 😀
