Included
Airport transfers are carried out by private bus and may be shared with other tours in the area. As part of the skiing itinerary, we use the extensive network of public buses, which enables us to explore different tracks and find the best snow.
All breakfasts and five dinners are included.
An ample buffet breakfast prepares us for the exertions of the day ahead. The excellent evening meals draw equally on Italian and Austrian traditions. They are usually four-courses, but it is always possible to skip a course if you want a lighter dinner. For lunch, our leaders will take us to a variety of cafes or huts serving traditional Tyrolean dishes and international classics.

The group will generally be between six and 20 people. There will be a UK leader and drivers and local guides where needed. There will normally be one leader per 10 people.
Our leaders are experienced ski enthusiasts, keen to impart their knowledge and skills. Instruction is included at all levels – naturally Beginner weeks feature a large element of instruction to get you started. Those who ski at an Advanced grade will enjoy the combination of longer tours with some on‐the‐ground coaching as and when required.
The minimum age of clients on this trip is 14 years. Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by (and share accommodation with) a parent or legal guardian.
This fine hotel in the centre of Dobbiaco has been welcoming our groups for many years. The property has a traditional look – the décor inside reflecting the Alpine style – but with the advantages of a small swimming pool, sauna and beauty treatment room (treatments not included).
An ample buffet breakfast prepares us for the exertions of the day ahead and evening meals draw equally on Italian and Austrian traditions. After dinner, relax in the lounge or go through to the bar for a drink with the local people.

Today, our leader will select routes based on the snow conditions and the group's skill level. Beginners can enjoy the scenic valley tracks starting from Dobbiaco, while advanced skiers can tackle the challenging route to Cortina d'Ampezzo. This memorable trail winds through spectacular mountains, passing under the majestic Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Enjoy coffee breaks and photo stops along the way, surrounded by the stunning limestone peaks.

Our leader will again choose the best routes for the day, considering the snow conditions and the group's abilities. Beginners can continue to explore the beautiful valley tracks from Dobbiaco, while more experienced skiers can venture further afield. The route to Cortina d'Ampezzo remains a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and take plenty of photos as you glide through this stunning region.

As the week progresses, our leader will continue to select the best routes for the group. Beginners can enjoy the gentle valley tracks, while advanced skiers can take on the more challenging routes. The trail to Cortina d'Ampezzo, with its stunning views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, remains a favorite. Take advantage of coffee breaks and photo opportunities as you explore this beautiful region.
Day 5 – Day 5: Relaxation Day

Today is a day to relax and unwind. Enjoy the amenities at the Tschurtschenthaler Hotel (or similar), take a leisurely stroll around Dobbiaco, or choose an optional activity such as self-guided snowshoeing. You might also visit one of the local museums to learn more about the region's history and culture.

Today, we explore the Sexten and Prags valleys, offering a variety of undulating routes through the picturesque Dolomites scenery. The high Plaetzwiese Plateau, at an elevation of about 6,560 feet (2,000 meters), provides superb skiing opportunities. By now, even beginners will have mastered the basics, while advanced skiers can enjoy the more secluded routes. Our leader will ensure the day is filled with the simple pleasure of gliding through this beautiful natural environment.

On our final day of skiing, we return to the Sexten and Prags valleys, enjoying the undulating routes and stunning Dolomites scenery. By now, everyone will have honed their skills, and our leader will ensure we make the most of our last day gliding through this breathtaking natural environment.
