Amazing!

My Hubby and I visited Brussels and went to Brugge for the day, decided we wanted to visit the chocolate museum. When we arrived got greeted by a lovely lady who explained they were full and the next available experience was at 4.30pm and we had to book via the website. So we stood there and booked and went for a walkabout as had 2hrs to kill before returning. you get given a little listening device which when scanned over each number plaque tells you about the piece in front of you. Towards the end you get to sample some of the chocolate (very yummy). The experience is very interesting and well priced. The only thing I would say they should have a notice outside to say you have to prebook and the website, otherwise a good thing to do.

Amazing!

The history of chocolate and many interesting facts are presented. Chocolate consumption had social significance and was a refined manner. Maybe the fact that it's now available to everyone makes us underestimate it a bit, but here's a good example of how it's good to appreciate everything in our lives.

Amazing!

We visited the museum as part of a cruise excursion city tour so we just “went” and we were glad we did.

Located near the central train station it was a short walk to the building. Christmas decorations were beautiful and staff spoke English and were very friendly.

What a great time! The tour was Disney quality but without the rides. Very well done and informative. After the chocolate tasting we drop some cash in the chocolate store. Excellent quality and good prices.

Amazing!

A great place to visit for adults or children. It was well priced at around £10 per entry. You are allocated a timeslot to attend to manage over crowding, although it wasn't busy during my visit. It was an educational visit with lots to see and interact with. The audio guide is part of the tour in various languages. I spent about 1 hour looking around. There was a tasting and demonstration at the end which was great fun. Highly recommended.

Amazing!

Entry was quick and easy after booking tickets online.

Visit included an audio guide which is necessary for your visit. Welcome chocolates were provided which were good quality. You scan each of the audio tiles which gives you information about the different sections.

It takes you through the history of chocolate and how it became so popular. Tasters were included while going around the museum and were self-access so you could choose to try as much as you wanted if that’s what your heart desires!

Live chocolate making is part of the tour if you are happy to wait. Show times are every half an hour and are worth the wait as the pralines are amazing and the chocolatier was entertaining. If you wanted to purchase more chocolate the shop is at the end and has bags of chocolate which are good value. Would recommend for the chocolate lovers out there!

If you’re also interested in beer, book the combo ticket for the choco-story and the Belgian beer world experience for the best value.

Amazing!

A comprehensive museum about chocolate that took a few hours to go round. The audio guide was good but the item numbering was not always in order or obvious. We learnt a lot.

Samples and demonstration were good.

This is an excellent idea to learn about the history of chocolate. Very explanatory and easy to go around using the audio guide. At the end a taste of chocolate, and a class on how to make a truffle. I think it’s a must in Brussels.

This museum was a lovely surprise for our family- everyone loved it! We had kids ages from 2 to teenager, and even us adults had fun. It was a great way to learn about this history of chocolate and sample different types. We would definitely come back again on a future trip to Brussels!
