Day 2: Sofia to Golyam Izvor

After breakfast, we'll transfer from Sofia to the peaceful village of Golyam Izvor in the Teteven Balkan. Here, you'll meet your horses and start your riding adventure. We'll ascend Mt Lissets, ride through a beautiful beech forest, and visit the historic Glozhene Monastery. After a day of riding, we'll return to Golyam Izvor for a hearty dinner and overnight stay in a guest house.

Today, we'll ride south-west from Golyam Izvor, passing through the deserted village of Slatina and climbing to the ancient fortress of Chertigrad. After lunch, we'll continue our ride to the village of Yamna, where we'll leave the horses for the night. A short transfer will take us to Lopian village for dinner and overnight stay in a guest house.

We'll spend the day riding through the Central Balkan National Park, taking in the superb views of the Thracian Plain to the South and the Balkan Mountains to the North. After a day of riding and exploration, we'll spend the night at the Momina Polyana Hut.

Day 6: Momina Polyana Hut to Cherni Vit and Teteven

Today, we'll leave the high mountain trail, descending through thick forests and pasture land along the Cherni Vit river. After a day of riding, we'll reach the village of Cherni Vit, where we'll leave the horses and transfer to the charming town of Teteven for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Teteven to Cherni Vit, Golyam Izvor, and Sofia

In the morning, we'll transfer back to Cherni Vit to reunite with our horses. We'll ride through the beautiful landscapes one last time, before saying goodbye to our horses and guides in Golyam Izvor. A transfer will take us back to Sofia for an overnight stay.
