Challenging 7 day self guided bike tour Dalmatian Coast

Welcome to the ancient city of Split. Start your day with a briefing and a leisurely cycle around Marjan Hill, a lush forest area with scenic cycling routes. Get acquainted with your bike and enjoy the stunning views. In the evening, wander through the historic alleys of Diocletian's Palace, dance on Peristil square, and indulge in delectable Mediterranean cuisine. Overnight stay at a 3* or 4* B&B in Split (or similar).

Start your day early and immerse yourself in the local culture at the bustling fish and green markets. Today's cycling adventure takes you to the east side of Split, along the town's best beach, through the historic village of Stobreč, and up to Mosor Hill. Enjoy the panoramic views from the hilltop and the serene nature along the quiet roads. After descending to Stobreč, return to Split for an overnight stay at a 3* or 4* B&B (or similar).

Take a morning ferry ride to the enchanting island of Hvar. Cycle through quaint villages and the island's famous lavender fields, taking in the stunning views and fascinating stone pile walls. Descend to the south side of the island and explore the Renaissance town square of Hvar Town. Enjoy a coffee and lunch here before cycling back to Jelsa for an overnight stay at a 3* or 4* B&B (or similar).

Today's journey takes you to the eastern part of Hvar Island. Cycle through the charming villages of Poljica, Zastrazice, Gdinj, and Bogomolje, all the way to Sućuraj, the easternmost point of the island. Enjoy the breathtaking views of olive groves, vineyards, mountains, and surrounding islands. Don't forget to take a refreshing dip in one of the many bays along the way. Return to Jelsa for an overnight stay at a 3* or 4* B&B (or similar).

After breakfast, a private boat will take you from Jelsa to Bol on Brač Island, famous for its unique Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape) beach. Cycle along the seaside promenade before starting your main ride to Vidova Gora, the highest peak of all Adriatic islands. Continue to Sumartin village and take a ferry to Makarska, a charming coastal town. Overnight stay at a 3* or 4* B&B in Makarska (or similar).

Prepare for the most challenging ride of your tour as you conquer Biokovo Mountain. Starting from sea level, embark on a 30 km climb through the Biokovo Nature Park, gaining a total elevation of 1780m. Enjoy the unique views of the coastline and the islands you've cycled through in the previous days. At the top, our driver will pick you up and shuttle you back to your accommodation in Split, a 3* or 4* B&B (or similar).
