Private Krka Waterfalls Day Trip from Split including Wine Tasting & Lunch

Bruno was amazing! Mr Mateo was so friendly and welcomed us to his wonderful winery. The falls were beautiful, overall we had a great time.

Bruno was a very good attentive guide. And the tour was an excellent day out with a good variety of tourists activities.

This excursion was one of the best I have ever been on. I’m not sure I have the perfect words to describe it. I’ve never seen so many waterfalls in one place. The water did not flow to a river that overflowed. This crystal clear, powerful water comes from anywhere and flows to everywhere all over the park, creating layers and layers of cascading waterfalls. It is stunning to hear the gush of the water and see the flow and feel the mist of the largest falls even from far away. We learned that Croatia is ranked 5th in the world for water to include quantity and quality, and it was easy to see why.

We then continued the day to a local farm of mostly vineyards and olive trees, but also several other vegetables and spices. We met Mateo who was the talented yet humble owner who made the wine and olive oil and cheeses and cured the meats we enjoyed for lunch. We got to visit his wine cellar and walk his land and hear his stories, generational stories of that land and what it created. He asked me to sign his guest book, and I left a note thanking him for sharing his talents and treasures with us as something we would always remember. It brought tears and an embrace from a sweet man who was a stranger just hours before. It was so very special!

Our host for the entire experience was Bruno from Beautiful Day Croatia Travel who I highly recommend when you go visit. He curated the perfect day for us! Croatia definitely ranks as one of my favorites, if not the very favorite.

I spent 6 days traveling all through Croatia on a high-end cycling excursion. Every day of that trip was more and more incredible. I booked a trip with Bruno for after that trip was over, and I must say that my time with Bruno was even more incredible than the cycling excursion. After getting us to the beautiful waterfalls, he took us to an incredible small production winery where the owner primarily still does all of the work himself. Mateo is incredibly proud of his product, and he should be. His wine and liquors were incredible. They surpassed the quality of the wine I had been drinking at Michelin star restaurants my entire trip. At the end of the trip, at my request, Bruno even took me to a large supermarket to check out the local products. I highly recommend this trip to anyone. Beautiful sights, incredible wine, and amazing hosts! Thank you Bruno and Mateo!

This was an amazing day out with Bruno, KRKA Waterfalls and the most wonderful family winery. A unique experience that we would highly recommend. The waterfalls were amazing and Bruno planned the day out perfectly. Mateo, the owner of the winery, was just adorable and made us feel like we were one of the family as he served his wine and lunch. This was very different from your ordinary excursion and one that was easy to do from the cruise ship that docked in Split. Bruno was right there to meet us with amazing personalized service.

This is an absolutely fantastic tour. From start to finish Bruno showed us an incredible time and put his personal touch on the tour showing us highlights of his town. He exhibited a great sense of humor, incredible knowledge and wonderful friendliness. After our self guided tour through KRKA, he took us to the most wonderful winery to enjoy wine, cheeses, meats,and olives. We also took a walk around the winery. I highly recommend this tour with Bruno.
