Tour from Dubrovnik to Athens or Corfu: 7 Balkan countries in 14 days

Kickstart your Balkan adventure from the medieval town of Dubrovnik. Our local representative will pick you up from your hotel and shuttle you to the border of Bosnia & Herzegovina. Our first stop is the city of Mostar, where we'll visit the iconic Old Bridge, a UNESCO world heritage site, and wander through the vibrant Old Bazaar. We'll also explore the Blagaj Monastery, nestled at the foot of a cliff. After a day of exploration, enjoy some free time to wander around Mostar before settling in for the night.

After breakfast, we'll journey from Mostar to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As we explore the city, we'll uncover stories of its origins and visit the Ottoman and Austria-Hungarian parts of Sarajevo. We'll also visit the Latin Bridge, where WWI was triggered. After a day of exploration, enjoy some free time to sample traditional dishes and explore the old town. We'll spend the night in Sarajevo.

On day three, we'll travel from Sarajevo to Kotor, a UNESCO world heritage site in Montenegro. We'll explore the maze of narrow, cobblestone streets and visit the significant Saint Luke’s Church. After a day of exploration, enjoy some free time to explore this magnificent UNESCO world heritage site. We'll spend the night near the Montenegrin Riviera.

On day four, we'll travel from Kotor to Budva, a popular tourist destination in Montenegro known for its beaches and old buildings. We'll visit the St. Ivan Church and explore the medieval splendors of the old town. From Budva, we'll cross the border to Shkoder, Albania, where we'll visit the historic Rozafa Castle. After a day of exploration, we'll spend the night in Shkoder.

On day five, we'll visit one of the best slow food Agro-tourism farms in the Balkans. After learning about the farm's history and operations, we'll continue our tour to Prizren, the cultural capital of Kosovo. We'll explore the city's rich history, incredible nature, and gastronomic delights. We'll also visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque and have some free time to explore the town. We'll spend the night in Prizren.

On day six, we'll travel from Prizren to Gjakova. We'll explore the city's oldest and largest bazaar and visit the Monastery of Decan, a UNESCO site known for its frescoes. We'll also visit the Rahovec Valley, known as the capital city of viticulture in Prizren. After a day of exploration, we'll return to Prizren for the night.

On day seven, we'll travel from Prizren to Kruja, a historical city in central Albania. We'll explore the city's medieval old bazaar and visit the Kruja Castle. After a day of exploration, enjoy some free time to enjoy a traditional lunch or do some souvenir shopping. We'll then drive to Tirane, where we'll spend the night.

On day eight, we'll explore Tirana, the capital of Albania. We'll start the day with a local breakfast at a small local place, then visit the Çam Bazaar. We'll also explore the city's bustling street markets and enjoy a traditional Albanian lunch. Our last stop will be BUNKART, a unique museum housed in a former nuclear bunker. After a day of exploration, we'll spend the night in Tirana.

On day nine, we'll travel from Tirane to Struga in North Macedonia. We'll have a quick drink by the beautiful source of Drini River before heading to Ohrid, a UNESCO world heritage site. We'll explore the city's rich history and visit the Church of St. John and the Halveti Hayati Tekke. After a day of exploration, we'll spend the night in Ohrid.

On day ten, we'll travel from Ohrid to Tushemisht, a hidden gem in Albania. We'll visit the Monastery of St. Naum and the National Park of Drilon. After a day of exploration, we'll drive to Berat, where we'll spend the night.

On day eleven, we'll explore Berat, known as the town of 1001 windows and part of UNESCO world heritage. We'll walk through the narrow stone streets and visit the Berat Castle. After a day of exploration, we'll drive to Gjirokaster, also known as 'The Stone City', where we'll spend the night.

On day twelve, we'll explore Gjirokaster, a UNESCO world heritage site known as 'The Stone City'. We'll wander through the atmospheric old town and visit the Gjirokastra Castle. After a day of exploration, we'll spend the night in Gjirokaster.

On day thirteen, we'll travel from Gjirokaster to Ioannina in Greece. We'll explore the city's rich history and visit the imposing Ioannina Castle. From Ioannina, we'll drive to Meteora, a UNESCO world heritage site known for its monasteries perched atop spectacular rock formations. After a day of exploration, we'll spend the night in Kalabaka.

On the final day of our tour, we'll depart from Kalabaka towards North Macedonia. We'll make a quick stop in Struga before continuing to Athens or Corfu. This marks the end of your amazing Balkan adventure, filled with unforgettable memories of the rich history and culture of the West Balkan Countries.
