Amazing!

Juhan was the best guide anyone could imagine. Knowledgeable and kind. Eventhough I was the only one on this tour he made me feel save and welcome and answered every question I had. The tour takes you to a remote part of Estonian nature which you can enjoy without meeting any other tourists. Juhan will tell you interesting facts about Estonian history and even talk with you about the Eurovision Songcontest, if that is your thing.

Amazing!

Juhan was magnificent and made this experience one of the top highlights our 9-day trip through the Baltic states. It was great to get away from the cities and the castles for some fresh air. The trails are well-established with small hills in only a couple of places and outhouses in several places. (and if asked if you'd like to visit the waterfall the answer is YES)

Amazing!

My wife and I from Australia chose this tour as we wanted to experience a much of the real Estonia in the short time we were there, and Juhan our tour guide from privatetoursinestonia.com did not disappoint! He customised the itinerary for the day according to our hiking abilities, and as he is a true local his knowledge of the places we went to was excellent. Juhan even took us to a few unscheduled stops on the way back to Tallin that we didn't expect so that was really appreciated. Plus he sent through some photos that he took throughout the day after the tour was done, again very much appreciated. Thanks again Juhan, will be letting others know for sure.

Amazing!

enjoyed every minute of this easy hike through a winter wonderland! this particular ~8.8km hike Juhan offered us was just perfect with the weather cooperating. Things were snow covered but not so much to make the walking hard. I took a lot of photos and enjoyed every moment. We did it in about 3 hours. Then the stop at the waterfall was nice to see. I'm so glad I booked this excursion it was a highlight of my stay in Tallinn!

Amazing!

I'm really pleased I chose Juhan's half-day hiking tour while I'm in Tallinn. He picked me up from my hotel and went ahead even though I was his only guest - lucky me, it really was a personal/private tour. During our drive to the park, Juhan shared his extensive knowledge of Estonia's complex history and calmly answered all my questions. It's a fabulous bonus that he was videoing and taking photos during our time and I'll be receiving a video memento of my experience in a couple of days - I've never had this offered before. I hope the Estonian tourism industry picks up - Juhan deserves to be busy all year round; highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our tour with Juhan. He was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, down-to-earth and open to various questions about his beautiful and vibrant country. He shared details of his personal history growing up in the area which we greatly appreciated. The hike was beautiful as was the trip to a waterfall. We only came across locals on our hike which was just what I was hoping for. It was peaceful and not crowded at all. Thanks Juhan!

Amazing!

I had a great experience with the Private tours, hosted by Juhan, very polite, accommodating person.

The group is small and I loved to hear the Estonia’s history from Juhan’s words.

Hiking in a park like a local, at a easy pace having time to take great photos and appreciated the beauty views of the lakes, trees, feeling the fresh air !

It was awesome !

… going to the top of the lighthouse, it was something that I’ve never done before, and it was incredible!

I truly loved these tours, it was good to see more than the old town :)

Thank you Juhan !

Amazing!

Jugan met us promptly at our hotel. We went to a nature preserve outside of the city. He gave us a concise history of the country. His English was excellent.

The hike was easy to moderate, with a fine mixture of ecosystems. We also went to the waterfall, which was not worth a visit unless you are in the area anyway.

I enjoyed the hike and would recommend it.
