Helsinki to Warsaw

Welcome to the vibrant city of Helsinki, Finland! Start your day with a guided walking tour around the city, visiting famous sights like the Havis Amanda, Senate Square, and Helsinki Cathedral. After exploring the city's historic center, finish your day with a walk through Kauppatori Market, the perfect place to pick up Finnish crafts. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your tour mates at your harbourside hotel (or similar).

Spend the day discovering Helsinki at your own pace. You can choose to visit the Suomenlinna Fortress, relax in one of the city's many saunas, or simply stroll around the city, stopping at local restaurants, shops, and cafes. Don't miss the chance to visit the Amos Rex art museum, Temppeliaukio Church, and Sibelius Monument. In the evening, enjoy a local dinner with an ocean view.

Today, you'll cross the Gulf of Finland by ferry, leaving Helsinki behind and heading to Tallinn, Estonia's capital. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the Old Town Square. Then, join a local guide for a walking tour of Tallinn, where you'll see highlights such as the Tall Hermann Tower and St Olav's Church. Spend the evening exploring Tallinn at your own pace.

Bid farewell to Tallinn and head towards Riga, the capital of Latvia. En route, stopover in the resort city of Pärnu in Estonia for some sightseeing and shopping. Continue your journey to the coastal town of Saulkrasti in Latvia, a scenic destination on the Gulf of Riga. Upon arrival in Riga, visit the Latvian Military Cemetery to learn about Latvia's WWI history. After checking into your hotel, embark on an orientation tour of Riga, visiting the city's Old Town, Riga Dom Cathedral, and Parliament House.

Today, cross the border to Lithuania, a beautiful Baltic state in northern Europe. Visit the mysterious Hill of Crosses, a famous religious site, and the town of Trakai, home to the majestic Trakai Island Castle. Continue your journey to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Upon arrival, embark on a sightseeing tour of the beautiful Baroque city, visiting iconic sights like the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, Vilnius Cathedral, and the Church of St. Anne. Enjoy some free time to explore before meeting up with your fellow travellers for dinner.

Leave Vilnius behind and head to Poland. Your first stop is the Masurian Lake District, a region home to over 2,000 lakes and spectacular scenery. After some free time to explore or grab lunch, continue your journey to Gdansk, a beautiful and historic port city. Upon arrival, embark on an orientation tour of Gdansk, admiring its charming architecture. Enjoy some free time for dinner in the evening.

Spend the day discovering the history, charm, and unique Dutch influence in Gdansk. Start with a locally guided walking tour to get to know the city's highlights and important historic areas. The rest of the day is free for you to explore more of Gdansk. Visit the Old Town, stroll around Long Market square, and admire the impressive architecture. For a deeper understanding of Poland's wartime history, visit the Museum of the Second World War and the European Solidarity Centre.

Leave Gdansk and head to Malbork Castle, a 13th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world's largest castle. After exploring the castle, continue your journey to Toruń, a beautiful medieval town also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, participate in a traditional and interactive gingerbread workshop. Afterwards, travel onwards to Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy an included dinner.
