Will was our guide and did an excellent job of detailing the history as well as present day impact of D-Day, the Rangers scaling the cliffs at Ponte du Hoc and more. We ended at the American cemetery where nearly 10,000 Americans (including 4 women) are buried. A truly great tour and incredible day. Round-trip travel from Paris was included. We had considered renting a car and muddling through on our own. So glad we didn’t as we would have missed out on so much of the insight that Will gave that provided much needed context at each site we visited. Also — those confusing streets — totally glad we didn’t decide to rent a car! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing & humbling day trip to Normandy! Our guide Daniel was super informative & knowledgeable about WWII and the Normandy beaches. He was funny, personable, and well-organized! Can’t say enough good things about what a wonderful guide he was! It was so humbling to learn and see all that occurred on D-Day. Lunch and cider tastings were an extra bonus, and comfortable bus/coach transportation too. A great day all around…highly recommend!

Daniel is a really great guide, the best prepared and knowledgeable guide I have ever had anywhere. The only objection is to the company in terms of starting the excursion at least half an hour earlier...

Daniel was FANTASTIC. He was very intuitive for what the group would need or want out of the tour and was ready with fun facts, tips and tricks, and hidden gems that we may otherwise may not have ever seen or known. He truly made this experience an amazing one and would highly recommend him to be a tour for this day trip.

Absolutely fantastic and moving. You really feel what our soldiers went through so hard to imagine all these young men sacrificing their lives in the cold and the wind to save our world. Our guide John was incredible preparing us with his WW1and WW2 knowledge The Museum at Utah Beach and the beaches were so informative.. Ash our afternoon guide, took us to the cemetary of our fallen US soldiers, the German bunkers at Omaha Beach.
The lunch was also fantastic, which I was completely surprised and delighted. All in all a beautiful wonderful moving day that made me appreciate our freedom.

The tour was absolutely fabulous. John had so much incredible info in the first part. He really knows his history about WW1 and WW2.
Actually, he is very knowledgeable about so much history in facts. He gave any wonderful recommendations about movies and books to read pertaining to the subject.
It was very moving to be there and I think I will have to book another tour sometime there. Or go on my own. The lunch was fantastic as well.
In the afternoon, Ash was wonderful with his commentary about the bunkers and cemetery of our fallen soldiers
