Your journey begins in the historic city of Avignon. After settling into your hotel, you'll have the opportunity to explore the city and its iconic Popes Palace. An orientation meeting and bike delivery will take place in the early evening. Dinner will be at your leisure, with a list of recommended restaurants provided.

Today, you'll cycle through the lush Gard forests and vineyards, making your way to the renowned Pont du Gard, a towering Roman aqueduct. Take a refreshing dip in the river before continuing to the picturesque village of Uzes, where you'll spend the night.

Your journey continues to the town of Arles, passing through serene countryside and the gorges around the Gardon River. In Arles, you'll discover the remarkably preserved Roman arena and antique theater, along with a variety of fascinating museums, including one dedicated to Vincent van Gogh.

After exploring Arles in the morning, you'll cycle to St Remy de Provence. En route, you'll pass the Abbey of Montmajour and the ancient site of Les Baux. In St Remy, you can visit the town and see where Van Gogh created over 150 of his masterpieces.

Today, you'll cycle to Avignon via Graveson and Barbentane. Along the way, you can visit the 10th-century Abbey of Saint Michel de Frigolet. Arriving in Avignon in the afternoon, you'll have ample time to explore the city's many attractions.
