Experience one of the most beautiful alpine pasture hiking tours in Austria. Trek along the steep walls of the Hochkönig, moving from one mountain hut to another across lush alpine pastures. You can choose to return to the hotel by bus or continue walking.

Take the bus to Arthurhaus, where you'll start your walking tour down to the Salzach Valley. Follow the old miners path to the fantastic Fortress of Hohenwerfen. You can choose to climb up the castle hill to see the bird-of-prey flight demonstrations and the collection of weapons. Afterwards, take a train to the town of Golling.

Hike up to the peak of Jenner for a panoramic view of the entire tour. Follow a trail through the former arch bishop hunting valley to the 'wall', surrounded by steep stone walls. Don't forget to look out for the 'Eagle's Nest'.
