Begin your journey in the picturesque city of Berchtesgaden, where you'll receive your tour package at the starting hotel. You can reach Berchtesgaden by train or by public bus from Salzburg.

Start your day at the edge of the Grass Mountain, where you'll hike up to the alpine pastures. You have the option to climb a small summit for a stunning view of the Alps, glaciers, and possibly the Zellersee lake. The trail then leads you down to the mountain villages of Dienten or Hintermoos.

Experience one of the most beautiful alpine pasture hiking tours in Austria. Trek along the steep walls of the Hochkönig, moving from one mountain hut to another across lush alpine pastures. You can choose to return to the hotel by bus or continue walking.

Take a well-deserved break. You can choose to take the bus down to the valley or simply relax in the hotel. With the local guest card, you can use the bus for free!
