BIKES PROVIDED

A selection of various size 24-speed freewheel men's and unisex bicycles with derailleur gears and 28" wheels. They are top-quality brand bicycles by Kettler and Kalkoff. Also have a large selection of men's and women's 8-speed bicycles with back-pedal breaks with hub gears and 26" or 28" wheels. Please let us know your preferences at time of booking.

E-bikes are available on request and for an additional surcharge. The electric bikes are usually 7- / 8-speed hub gears with freewheel or 7- / 8-speed hub gears with coaster brakes, Battery: 500-620 Wh and 36 V, Range: from 55 km up to 140 km approx, max speed approx 25kph.

Please test ride your bike and advise our partner immediately if there are any problems.

-Bike accessories

- per bike: 1 waterproof cycle bag (about 12l), a handle bar bag & odometer are usually provided (subject to availability), combination lock.

- per room: 1 repair kit incl. tools and inner tube, 1 lock and 1 pump

-Helmets are not available for rent although they can be purchased locally, or we recommend bringing one with you from home. Although it is not a legal requirement to wear one we strongly recommend that you do.

BIKE REPAIR KIT

You will receive a kit (with repair kit and tube) as an accessory for your rental bike. Flat tyres can happen and the assumption is that you can repair. If you have a breakdown which you cannot take care of yourself or need assistance on the road, please call our partner. We will try to provide assistance as quickly as possible within the scope of our abilities.

In the event of a breakdown with your rental bikes, our partner will reimburse your expenses by means of a workshop repair, up to a one-off amount of €25.00. If the costs exceed this amount, they must be agreed in advance by telephone with Mecklenburger Radtour GmbH.

- Your own saddle can be brought along and mounted largely without problems if the saddle post fits (Ø 27.2 mm).
