Head over into the Inn Valley, leaving Leutasch on a gently undulating country road before an eight-kilometre descent takes you to Telfs. Cycle along the Inn on the former towpath and reach Stams with its baroque Cistercian monastery. Continue to Imst, the 'Merano of North Tyrol'.

Cycle along the Inn past Zams Monastery to Landeck. A bus transfer takes you up to Nauders. From there, ascend to the Reschen Pass and then descend to Lake Reschen. Continue along the cycle path to your overnight stay in St. Valentin.

Start your day with a visit to the fully preserved medieval town wall of Glurns. Cycle down to Merano via the mining ruins in Silandro/Schlanders.
