Nothing but excellence - In the idylic setting of Lindos you can find Lindos Esel Suites, where comfort meets all the modern amenities, with respect to the local architecture and the history of this building, where many of the guests are already calling it Home! This is a Lindian house built in the early 20th century, as evidenced by the date - March 1, 1917 - on the pebbled floor of the sitting room (sala). Built according to the unique lindian typology of the time , went through periods of prosperity and decline. Recently renovated and now containing three independent accommodation areas while retaining its simplicity and beauty, the main features of the local architecture.

Welcome to Rhodes! Upon your arrival at Diagoras International Airport, you will be transferred to the charming village of Embonas, your base for the next three nights. Embonas is renowned for its rich wine tradition, offering a delightful introduction to the island's culture. After settling in, you will meet with our local manager who will provide you with a welcome package and brief you about the exciting hiking tour ahead. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the village or simply relaxing at your accommodation.

Kickstart your hiking adventure with a gentle hike in the heart of Rhodes Island. Your journey begins in Salakos, a quaint agricultural village nestled on the foothills of Profitis Ilias, the island's third highest mountain. The trail is well-maintained and shaded by ilex trees, pine trees, and olive trees, making it suitable for beginners. As you ascend, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the Aegean Sea, the Turkish coastline, and nearby islands. The highlight of the hike is the Elafos and Elafina Hotels, former Italian buildings boasting an Alpine style of architecture, unique for a Greek Island. After a well-deserved break, you will descend back to Salakos for an overnight stay.

Today's challenge is Attaviros, the highest mountain of the Dodecanese islands. The hike begins from the picturesque village of Agios Isidoros, located on the east side of the mountain. The trail gradually ascends to the plateau of Attaviros, followed by a final climb to the summit. The views from the top are truly breathtaking, offering panoramic vistas of the whole island, the Aegean and the Mediterranean Seas, and even some nearby islands. You will also find the remains of an Ancient Greek temple dedicated to Attavirios Zeus. After a picnic near the summit, you will descend back to Agios Isidoros, where you can enjoy a delicious homemade meal at a local taverna.

Day four of your hiking adventure takes you to the unique natural environment of Akramitis, the second highest mountain on Rhodes. The trail starts from Monolithos, a beautiful rural village on the unspoilt western side of the island. The hike takes you through green slopes, colourful shrubs, and scented herbs, offering multiple photo opportunities. After a well-deserved break at the chapel of St John, you will ascend to the summit of Akramitis Mountain, where you will be rewarded with stunning views of nearby islands, the inland area of Rhodes Island, and the lake in Apolakia. After descending, you will be transferred to Vlicha or Lindos for an overnight stay.

Day five of the Hiking Rhodes Tour is dedicated to the East coast of Rhodes. Starting from Vlicha, you will follow a trail that takes you through mature pine trees and along the foot of imposing limestone slopes. You will visit an impressive cave and reach the highest point of the hike, offering stunning views of Navarone Bay. The trail then leads you to the historic monument of the Acropolis of Lindos, where you can explore the narrow streets of the whitewashed village. After some time sightseeing and relaxing, you will follow a coastal trail back to Vlicha for an overnight stay.
