Welcome to Greece! Upon your arrival at Heraklion Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel in the city. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, perhaps exploring the local area or simply relaxing after your journey. A delicious dinner awaits you at the hotel, setting the tone for the culinary delights to come. Overnight in Heraklion.
Day 2 – Day 2: Heraklion - Spinalonga - Elounda

After breakfast, we'll set off for Spinalonga, a historic island known as the 'island of tears' due to its past as a leper colony. Here, you'll take a guided tour of the remains of the colony, learning about its fascinating history. We'll then sail back to the coastal town of Elounda, where you'll enjoy a traditional Cretan lunch and have some free time to explore or swim. After a day full of discovery, we'll return to Heraklion for dinner and overnight.

Today, we'll venture into the heart of Crete, starting with a visit to the Potamies Reservoir water dam. We'll then explore the ruins of the Roman aqueduct of Lyttos before heading to the charming village of Kastamonitsa for a coffee break. Our journey continues with an off-road adventure to the Cave of Zeus and the stunning Lassithi Plateau. After a BBQ lunch with unlimited wine, we'll end the day in the village of Krassi, where you can admire a 2,000-year-old plane tree and learn about its natural spring water source. We'll then return to Heraklion for overnight.
