The food tour with Panos is certainly a top highlight of my time in Greece! He is a hospitable and personable guide who is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about gastronomy. He has a wealth of knowledge on Thessaloniki and the history of the city and how it mingled from a mix of cultures. He shared information in a way that was interesting and inspirational. He knows the food scene so well in the city and how different chefs interpret food. It was so pleasant to see him run into people that he knows on the street and to see the local business owners’ faces light up when they saw him. It certainly reveals his personable and authentic character. The food selections were delicious and outstanding with only the highest quality of ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Panos' personality is very pleasant and friendly, and above all, he knows a lot about history and how it links to the life of the city and its food. We visited places we would not have seen otherwise and Panos is interested in promoting the businesses of the local people. If you visit Thessaloniki, this experience will allow you to see the city in a different way.

I loved everything about this tour! Panos is so personable and obviously very passionate about what he does as his enthusiasm shone while describing the history of the city and how that changed the culinary landscape. This was definitely a unique way to experience the city. Even with having a Greek background, I myself experienced some things for the very first time!
