Your journey begins at Skaftafell Base Camp, conveniently located next to the visitor center. After meeting your expert guide, you’ll gear up with crampons, ice axes, and harnesses, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the glacier’s unique challenges. A short bus ride brings you to the glacier’s edge, where a brief hike leads to the start of your ice adventure.
