6 Day - Around Iceland Adventure

Kick off your Icelandic adventure with a tour of the renowned Golden Circle, home to Thingvellir National Park, Geysir hot spring, and the mighty Gullfoss waterfall. As we journey towards the South Coast, we'll stop by the stunning Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and the striking Reynisfjara black sand beach. Our day concludes in the charming village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, where we'll rest for the night.

Day two takes us deeper into the South-East, where we'll marvel at the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the vast lava fields. We'll explore the wonders of Skaftafell National Park, part of the larger Vatnajökull National Park, home to Europe's largest glacier. After a thrilling glacier hike, we'll visit the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Our day ends in the town of Höfn í Hornafirði, where we'll spend the night.

Day three is all about the breathtaking East Fjords. We'll navigate the narrow roads around the remote Hvalnes peninsula and the Þvottárskriður landslides. We'll stop at Djúpivogur, a quaint fishing village known for its outdoor sculpture, Eggin í Gleðivík. Our day concludes at the Wilderness Center near Egilsstaðir, where you can unwind in the hot pots and possibly catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Day four begins with a visit to the dramatic Stuðlagil Canyon, followed by a journey through the wilderness of Möðrudalur valley. Upon reaching the Lake Mývatn area, you'll have the option to soak in the geothermal Mývatn Nature Baths. We'll explore the stunning landscape around the lake, including the geothermal wonderland of Námaskarð and the vast lava field of Dimmuborgir. Our day concludes in the beautiful fjord of Eyjafjörður, with an overnight stay in the city of Akureyri.

Day five starts with an exploration of Akureyri, followed by a thrilling whale watching tour from Dalvík. After this marine adventure, we'll visit the cosy village of Siglufjörður and traverse the mountainous Tröllaskagi peninsula. Our day ends in Laugarbakki, where we'll spend the night.

On the final day of our tour, we'll visit Borgarfjörður in West Iceland, a region renowned for its natural and historical attractions. We'll explore Deildartunguhver hot spring, the Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, and the historic site of Reykholt. Our journey concludes with scenic views of Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord) before we return to Reykjavík in the evening.
