The tour begins with a convenient transfer from Reykjavík to the Íshestar Stables, located only a short drive away. Upon arrival, you'll be matched with a horse suited to your skills and provided with all necessary gear, including helmets, warm overalls, rainwear, and boots, so you can ride comfortably in any weather.
Over approximately three hours, you'll explore the beautiful landscapes surrounding Hafnarfjörður, with 2.5 to 3 hours of actual riding time. The route is carefully chosen to showcase the best of Iceland's natural beauty, and knowledgeable guides lead the way in English, Icelandic, or German.
For your safety, all riding equipment brought into Iceland must be properly cleaned or disinfected, and there are secure lockers available for valuables at the stables. Please note that this experience is not suitable for beginners, pregnant women, or anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
