ICELAND – 7 Days Golden Circle and South Coast Highlights

Welcome to Iceland! Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to Reykjavik, where you'll have the rest of the day to explore at your own pace. Discover the city's highlights, including the iconic Hallgrimskirkja Church, the Perlan Glass Dome, the Sun Voyager sculpture, and the bustling Harbour side. Your accommodation for the night will be at the 22hill hotel or similar.

Today, we'll explore the diverse scenery of Snæfellsnes, known for its jagged cliffs, tranquil bays, and lustrous glacier tongues. We'll go caving in an ancient lava tube, traverse a black pebble beach with stunning cliff formations, and visit the photogenic Kirkjufell mountain. If weather conditions allow, we'll embark on a hunt for the Northern Lights in the evening.

On the fifth day, we'll visit the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where you'll be awestruck by the floating icebergs. We'll then explore the Diamond Beach, known for its ice monoliths. Next, we'll explore a natural ice cave in Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe. During the summer months, we'll visit the Katla Ice Cave instead.

On the final day of our tour, we'll visit the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall and return to the famous black sand beach, Reynisfjara. As we travel back to Reykjavik, you'll have a chance to soak in more of the incredible landscapes of South Iceland, passing by remarkable moss-covered lava fields and snow-capped mountains.

On the last day of your tour, you'll have the chance to soak in the geothermal spa at the Blue Lagoon before heading to the airport for your return flight. It's time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers, taking with you a host of travel memories and captivating moments captured on camera.
