Set out from Reykjavik’s Old Harbour for an unforgettable puffin-watching adventure in Iceland. Glide across the water in a custom-made RIB boat, designed to bring you up close to the islands where puffins nest each summer.
Your expert guide and captain will share fascinating stories and facts about these charming seabirds and the surrounding landscape. When possible, the boat’s engines are switched off, creating a peaceful atmosphere to observe the puffins in their natural habitat.
The RIB boats are the fastest in the harbour, so you’ll spend less time traveling and more time enjoying the puffins. The tour lasts about one hour, with approximately 40 minutes dedicated to watching the birds up close.
All necessary safety equipment and a warm flotation suit are provided to keep you comfortable on the northern seas. Please dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes, as Icelandic weather can be unpredictable even in summer.
This small-group experience is suitable for ages 10 and up, or those at least 145 cm tall. Spaces fill quickly during puffin season, so check availability and book your spot now for an up-close encounter with Iceland’s iconic wildlife.
