The tour operator requests that you arrive at the Troll Expeditions Silfra at least 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Park your vehicle at P5 Thingvellir and proceed on foot to the meeting point where your exciting adventure begins.
Your guide will equip you with a cozy dry suit, warm undersuit, and top-notch snorkeling gear. For added comfort, we recommend wearing long underwear and thick socks underneath. Upon arrival at the meeting point in Thingvellir, your certified PADI Divemaster guide will welcome you and provide a thorough briefing. You’ll be outfitted with a thermal drysuit, neoprene hoods and gloves, mask, snorkel, and fins, ensuring warmth and buoyancy as you glide through the fissure’s vibrant blue waters.
As you snorkel through Silfra, you’ll be mesmerized by the incredible visibility and striking underwater landscapes. This self-drive tour requires your own transportation to the meeting point, as public buses are not available.
