You will be picked up from your downtown Reykjavik hotel or meet at a central city location. The activity starts at 9:30 AM. You'll travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to Thingvellir National Park, home to the unique Silfra fissure. On the way, you’ll see the volcanic scenery and hear stories about the park’s history and significance in Iceland’s past, especially its location between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates slowly drifting apart.

Upon arriving at Silfra, your PADI-certified guide will introduce you to snorkeling in this one-of-a-kind location. You'll wear a special dry suit to keep you warm and dry in the cold water. After you gear up with your snorkeling equipment, you'll enter the water and follow your guide for a 30- to 40-minute snorkel adventure.

The journey takes you through the Silfra Big Crack, into the expansive Silfra Hall, and over the deep boulders of the Silfra Cathedral, concluding in the stunning Silfra Lagoon. Afterward, warm up with hot chocolate and cookies before returning to Reykjavik.
