This immersive seven-hour adventure begins at Ventry pier, where you'll board your tour boat at 10 am and journey across Dingle Bay, keeping watch for dolphins and whales along the way.
Upon reaching Great Blasket Island, you'll disembark via a licensed Zodiac tender and have three hours to explore at your own pace. After your island visit, continue your marine eco tour around the outer Blasket Islands. Marvel at dramatic rock formations like Cathedral Rocks on Inish na Bró, and enjoy the chance to see puffins, native red deer, and a variety of seabirds. With luck, you may spot pods of dolphins or even a majestic humpback whale.
Your experienced skipper may take you past Inish Tuaisceart, known as "The Sleeping Giant," and, in fine weather, around Tearaght Island, home to the most westerly lighthouse in mainland Europe. Throughout the journey, you'll be treated to breathtaking seascapes and fascinating insights into the region's wildlife and history.
A guided cultural and historical tour of the deserted village on Great Blasket Island is included, enriching your experience with stories of the island's past.
