Day 1 – Day 1: Milan - Orta San Giulio - Stresa - Como

We kick off our journey at 08:30 am from Milan, heading towards the enchanting Lake Orta. We stop at the charming village of Orta San Giulio for a short visit. We then take a private boat to the island of San Giulio, home to the famous Monastery Mater Ecclesie and the Romanesque basilica of Saint Julius. After a brief visit, we head back to Orta and then to Stresa, a picturesque town on Lake Maggiore. We explore the Isola del Pescatori and Isola Bella by private boat in the afternoon. We then depart for Como, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a short visit of Como, a town rich in history and natural beauty. We then board a boat to Bellagio, a picturesque village nestled at the tip of the peninsula separating the lake's two southern arms. After lunch, we take a panoramic route along the lake side to Bergamo, a city characterized by its unique urban structure. We explore the city's old town, filled with beautiful churches and monuments, before transferring to the modern town for some shopping and dining. We spend the night in Bergamo.

After breakfast, we depart for Lake Garda, the largest Italian lake. We arrive in Sirmione, where the lake offers its best panorama. We take a boat tour to enjoy the view of the Sirmione Cape, the castle, and the Catullo's Grotto ruins. We then head to Lazise, a charming village known for its medieval castle. After lunch, we depart for Verona, where we will spend the night.

We start the day with a visit to the famous city of Verona. We explore Piazza Bra with the Arena, Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe e dei Signori with the monument to Dante Alighieri and Juliet's Balcony. We then depart for Cortina d'Ampezzo, passing through Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa, two of the most beautiful valleys of the Dolomites area. We stop in Canazei, a popular tourist destination, for a short visit. We then continue our journey to Cortina d'Ampezzo, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we head out to Lake Misurina, nestled among the woods and Dolomites tops. We then visit Lake Dobbiaco, known for its unique emerald-colored water. We explore Val Pusteria and Val Badia, two of the most typical valleys of the region. After lunch, we cross the Falzarego Pass and return to Cortina, where you will have free time for the rest of the day. We spend the night in Cortina.

After breakfast, we depart for Canazei through the Fedaia Pass, arriving at the foot of the Glacier of Marmolada, the highest glacier of the eastern Alps. We visit Canazei, a popular tourist destination, before heading to Lake Carezza. We then depart for Merano, a city famous for its Christmas market and charming old town. After lunch, we dedicate the second half of the day to Bolzano, an important commercial center. We visit the Cathedral and the main central streets, before spending the night in Bolzano.

After breakfast, we depart for Trento, the capital of the region, through the scenic Weinstrasse, the route of the wine. We make a short stop to visit the area before arriving in Trento. We explore the city's historical sites, including the castle known as del Buon Consiglio, Santa Maria Maggiore, Palace Geremia, and Piazza Duomo. After lunch, we depart to return to Milan, marking the end of our unforgettable journey.
