Marena was an amazing guide. She brought the history to life. We so very much enjoyed Pompeii and were ready for our winery stop on the way home. Don't forget to download your train tickets before you leave for the meet up, most of us had not done that (in the email sent the day before).

Great tour! Marina, our guide was excellent! The winery where we had lunch was also very good as well as the wine which was delicious. The staff at the winery were very fun. Overall great experience and would highly recommend this tour.

The tour organization was well-organized, with good communication. Our guide was enthusiastic and spoke very good English; he was clearly a big Pompeii geek, which made the tour even better. The winery stop was a great touch, with good wines and snacks to cap the day off. Highly recommend.

A perfect way to see pompeii in a day trip from Rome. The tour was well organised- communications both beforehand and on the day excellent. Our tour leader was a great highlight. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic and brought it all to life for us. Lunch at the winery was also lovely.

This was a fabulous tour of Pompei! Even with the train departing almost an hour late (out of anyone’s control) Rose met us at the Naples train station and onto our waiting van to take us to Pompei. Once there, she was a wonderful tour guide for an incredible place to visit. The wine tasting and lunch afterwards was fantastic and was a great way to finish our time there before being getting on the train back to Rome. The high speed train makes a day trip to Pompei not only doable but relatively easy.

An amazing experience from start to finish. The tour guide in Rome was amazing!! Made sure we were al on the right train after the platform was changed!! Tour guide in Naples was amazing too!! Ensured that the day ran smoothly and the tour of Pompeii was excellent!! Lunch and wine tasting was a great opportunity to meet my fellow travellers. She also made sure that we were all on the train back to Rome. Only downside was the day went too quickly!!!

Wonderful experience! Our guide Antonio is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and funny. The whole trip is very well coordinated and you should have no worries if you’re unfamiliar with Rome and Naples/Pompeii.
