Cinque Terre : Hiking Self Guided Tour - 7 days from Sestri Levante

Welcome to the charming town of Sestri Levante! Upon arrival, check into your cozy accommodation at the Pergola dei Paggi farm house (or similar). You'll receive a roadbook with all the maps and descriptions for your upcoming hike. In the evening, savor your first dinner with local Ligurian specialties at a typical restaurant in town.

After breakfast, set off on a morning hike to Moneglia, a charming seaside town. The trail takes you through beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and an old lookout point. After about three hours of hiking, you'll arrive in Moneglia. Your accommodation for the night is the beautiful 3-star Hotel Villa Argentina (or similar), a cozy family-run hotel in the heart of the village.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a panoramic hike to Deiva Marina, Framura, and finally Bonassola. This is one of the longer days, with about six hours of hiking. If you need a break, you can always catch a train to your next destination. In Bonassola, you'll stay at the Pensione Moderna (or similar), a simple yet cozy hotel located in the heart of the village and just a short stroll from the seaside.

Begin your day with a scenic hike to the town of Levanto. After a lunch break or a swim at the beach, continue your journey to the Cinque Terre National Park. After about three hours of hiking, you'll arrive at your accommodation for the night, the I Lecci di Soviore guesthouse (or similar), located high above the town of Monterosso. This family-run guesthouse offers stunning views of the Ligurian Sea and is surrounded by tranquil countryside.

After breakfast, hike from the Sanctuary of Soviore above Monterosso to the ancient Sanctuary of Reggio above Vernazza. From there, descend to the picturesque village of Vernazza, one of the famous Cinque Terre villages. After a lunch break, continue your hike to Corniglia and then to the small hamlet of Volastra. Your accommodation for the night is a charming family-run hotel in Volastra (or similar), where you'll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Start your final day of hiking early in the morning. The trail takes you to the ancient Sanctuary of Montenero and the village of Campiglia. After a steep descent, you'll reach the enchanting town of Portovenere. From there, take a short ferry ride to La Spezia, where you'll spend your last night at the Hotel Genova (or similar). Celebrate the end of your journey with a dinner at a traditional local restaurant.
