Travel to the captivating city of Syracuse, a gem of the Ionian Sea. Upon arrival, participate in a cooking class where you'll learn how to make Arancini, a beloved Sicilian specialty. Enjoy your creation for lunch, and later, join your guide for an orientation walk through the city's baroque piazzas and medieval side streets. Overnight at the Hotel Gran Bretagna Siracusa (or similar).

Enjoy a full day at your leisure in Syracuse. You may choose to visit the impressive Parco Archeologico della Neapolis or take a short trip to the nearby city of Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its stunning baroque architecture and unique golden limestone. Overnight at the Hotel Gran Bretagna Siracusa (or similar).

Today, we journey to the baroque city of Ragusa and the medieval hilltop town of Piazza Armerina. Here, we'll visit the Villa Romana del Casale, home to the world's most diverse collection of Roman mosaics. Marvel at the beautifully preserved scenes of ancient life depicted in mosaic tiles. We then continue to Agrigento for our overnight stay at the Colleverde Park Hotel (or similar).

Embark on a guided tour of the Valley of the Temples, one of Sicily's most iconic attractions. Discover the history of this magnificent site as you explore the ruins of its seven temples. We then journey to Trapani, stopping en route in Marsala to visit some of Europe's oldest salt marshes. Overnight at the B&B Hotel Trapani Crystal (or similar).

Enjoy a free day to explore the charms of Trapani and its nearby towns. You may choose to take a cruise to the idyllic Egadi Islands, spend the day hiking in a nature reserve, or ride a funicular to the walled town of Erice. Overnight at the B&B Hotel Trapani Crystal (or similar).

Travel to Monreale to visit the 11th-century Monreale Cathedral, adorned with thousands of gold mosaic tiles. Enjoy panoramic views of the Golden Valley and the Tyrrhenian Sea. We then continue to Palermo, where you'll join your guide for an orientation walk upon arrival. Overnight at the Hotel Vecchio Borgo (or similar).
