• Please note that access to the Terraces requires climbing 150 steps (no lift) through narrow passages. The height of the Terraces is 30 meters (98 feet). • Florence can be hot in the summer. Please bring a hat, a small umbrella, and sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun. • You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral's dress requirements. • Unannounced renovation work is often done during the off-season. Crowds are expected during the high season. • The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics. • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. • It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
