Individuals wearing sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
We recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes for your comfort and safety.
You may be refused entry if you fail to comply with the cathedral's dress requirements.
Florence can be hot in the summer. This tour includes portions that are outside and could be in full sun. Please bring a hat, a small umbrella, and sunscreen if you are sensitive to the sun.
Unannounced renovation work is often done during the off-season. Crowds are expected during the high season.
The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
On Sundays and holidays, skip-the-line priority access to the Cathedral is suspended as it is closed to all visitors. Instead, we will visit the Ancient Basilica of Santa Reparata (the Crypt).
Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
