We had to claim that we had free coffee because they wanted to charge us.

Guide spoke very softly and never told us when he was moving on. Lunch was very average. Bus driver dropped us off one mile from the starting point. No one told us what was happening. The driver just stopped and the guide disappeared. There was an accident but the driver didn't see fit to drive around to get us all safely back to the starting point. I was a single woman traveling alone. Thankfully there was a Catholic priest in the group who walked me back to the starting point even though it was the opposite direction in which he had to go to reach his hotel. I felt like neither the driver nor the guide really cared about the people on the trip.

The lunch was good but could have been a little better, a small dessert was missing.

The bus was filthy and our guide was very hard to understand. The venues were really nice.

The guide and itinerary were good, but the quality of the audio headset was poor which made it hard to follow what was being said. The meal was ok. Simple and filling with a generous glass of wine.

We spent a wonderful day in Tivoli visiting the archaeological park Hadrian and Villa D'Este. I liked the sights and the way they were presented by the 2 lady guides. The lunch was not to my taste and the coffee was not on the menu. But that didn't stop us from enjoying what we visited.

We were hurried along like a group of seven year old school children. We were given almost no time to experience either site on our own or at our own pace. Hadrian’s villa entailed an almost linear route followed by a route march back to the coach. It seemed to be an ‘Instagram’ tour - take a photo here, move on, take a photo here ! No time to make it a personal experience. Lunch was very poor; both the quality of the food and the noisy surroundings left much to be desired. At Villa d’Este, a second guide (why ?) rushed us round. We waited and waited for an organ to play yet completely missed the avenue with 100 fountains. Choice would be the key. If we had 90 minutes at each site we could be given the choice to follow the guide or to make our own way round and meet at an agreed place and time. I could not recommend this tour.

Bus trip needed to have a guide to intro man’s close the day and to make it a bit of fun. Lunch was included but was an average meal With serving sizes inconstant amongst the tour party.
