Welcome to Rome, Italy's vibrant capital! After checking into your accommodation, meet your tour leader and fellow travelers at 5:00pm for an orientation session. As the sun sets, we'll take a leisurely stroll through the city, visiting the iconic Colosseum and Roman Forum. The day concludes with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you'll get a taste of authentic Italian cuisine.

Enjoy a day of leisure in Rome. You can go shopping for souvenirs, relax at a local café, or continue exploring the city's many attractions. If you're interested in learning more about Rome's ancient history, consider joining a guided walking tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. This optional tour offers a fascinating insight into the lives of gladiators and the workings of the Roman Senate.

Today, we'll travel south by train to the ancient city of Pompeii. Here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the well-preserved ruins of this Roman city that was buried under volcanic ash in 79 AD. You can also opt for a guided tour to gain a deeper understanding of the site's historical significance. From Pompeii, we'll continue to Sorrento, a charming coastal town known for its breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. After checking into our accommodation, we'll take a walk around the city center and visit a limoncello shop to learn about the production of this popular Italian liqueur. The day ends with an optional dinner at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional pasta or gnocchi.

Start your day with a scenic boat trip to the island of Capri. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and beach towel, as you'll have the opportunity to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. Once on the island, you can explore at your own pace, relax on the beach, take a chairlift to the top of Mt. Solaro for panoramic views, or visit the famous Blue Grotto. In the evening, you can choose to join your guide for dinner at a popular pizzeria in Sorrento.

Today, we'll embark on a full-day tour of the stunning Amalfi Coast by private bus. As we drive along the winding coastal road, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque villages that dot the coastline. We'll make stops in Amalfi and Positano, where you'll have time to explore, relax on the beach, and sample local delicacies. Don't miss the chance to try 'sfogliatella', a shell-shaped filled pastry that's a specialty of the region.

We'll start the day with a visit to Naples, the birthplace of pizza. After a guided walk through the city's shopping and monuments area, you'll have the chance to taste the famous Neapolitan pizza. From Naples, we'll catch a fast-speed train to Florence. Upon arrival, join your tour leader for an orientation walk to discover the city's iconic landmarks, including the Gothic Cathedral and Ponte Vecchio. The day ends with an 'aperitivo' at a local bar, where you can enjoy a drink and a buffet of delicious Italian food.

Today, we'll take a day trip by train to Pisa and the beautiful Cinque Terre. In Pisa, you'll have two hours to explore the Square of Miracles and see the famous Leaning Tower. From Pisa, we'll travel to the Liguria region, home to the picturesque Cinque Terre or 'Five Lands'. These charming coastal villages are renowned for their natural beauty, panoramic views, and pleasant beaches. After a day of exploration, we'll return to Florence in the evening.

Say goodbye to Florence as we catch a fast-speed train to Venice. After checking into our accommodation, we'll head out for an orientation walk of the city. Known for its canals, gondolas, and stunning architecture, Venice is a city like no other. We'll visit St. Mark's Square, the Cathedral, the Rialto Bridge, and the Doge's Palace. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore - you might want to take a gondola ride or learn about the traditional art of Venetian mask-making.

Join us for a morning tour to the islands of Murano and Burano. Famous for their glassmaking and lacework respectively, these islands offer a unique insight into Venice's artisan traditions. You'll have the chance to see these crafts being made first-hand and learn about the history behind them. Spend the afternoon at your leisure in Venice, soaking up the city's unique atmosphere and enjoying your last night in this enchanting city.
