Discover the ancient Roman city that was preserved under volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. After your visit, you'll be transferred to Sorrento, known for its charming old town centre and the picturesque Marina Grande. After breakfast at your hotel, depart for the port and sail to the beautiful island of Capri on a traditional Gozzo Sorrentino. Enjoy a boat trip around the island with the opportunity to swim in its crystal-clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional and weather permitting). Once on the island, continue by minibus to explore and reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island. Spend some free time discovering Capri at your own pace before returning to the port and heading back to Sorrento for your overnight stay.

Spend the morning at your leisure in Sorrento before being transferred directly to Naples around 3:30 p.m. A local assistant at Naples train station will help you board the high-speed train to Rome.
