Great tour with our guide, Flamina. She is very knowledgeable of the Pantheon because she worked there during Covid and had lots of secrets and fun facts to share with us. This tour is rather short because there is only so much to show and talk about without already seeing everything from one vantage point.

We usually start with an introduction outside to put inot play the site where the Pantheon was built - outside the original city walls of Rome.

The experience was just perfect - there was sufficient time to look around and take pictures. Our guide was very knowledgeable and with her experience in archaeology, she could articulate how the socio-political changes had impacted the people and how it was reflected in the architecture and features of the Pantheon. She showed us where the Pagan culture could still be seen on the walls. She even mentioned about other churches in the vicinity and the building, formerly a courthouse, where Galileo was tried. One cannot possibly ask for better.
