Sergio was a great guide with extensive knowledge of both sites and the history of the area. He kept a good pace allowing for pictures but just long enough for him to tell you about what was infront of you. Would book this tour for friends or family if they went to this amazing place full of history.

Our guide Rafael (?) was great. He took us to Herculean from Pompeii on the train with one transfer, as expected. In Herculean, another (10) tourists were added to the tour which already was at limit. So, now we had 20 in the enlarged group! Not right!! Returning from Herculean was another problem because Rafael abandoned us. We had to figure out the transfer on our own, as the railroad employees were not on the platform. By luck we made it back on our own!! Success!!

Highly recommended to take this tour that covers both beautiful Pompei and Herculaneun. Raphael was a great guide and he made our tour super interesting with historical facts and amusing anecdotes. The group was small (16 of us on that day) and we could ask questions and the tour was nicely paced. Thumbs up!

Alfredo was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Although it rained almost the whole tour, he took care of each guest and even offered his personal umbrella to guest without one. It's totally worth visiting the two sites with an actual archeologist who worked in Pompeii personally.
