Amazing Tour with the best Tour Guide!

His knowledge of the city's history, excellent command of the English knowledge, great sense of humor and customized 4-hour itinerary made this trip extra memorable to me! The tour was perfectly tailored to 2 couples. Fulvio provided so much history and a great overview. It’s amazing how much we saw in just 2 hours.

We booked this tour as we had never been to Genoa before and wanted a quick overview of the city. We have been on several private tours in the past and although they are more expensive than large group tours we believe you get a better, more personalised experience.

Our guide, Niccolò was a Genoese native who spoke excellent English was very engaging and personable. He had contacted us before the tour to ask if there were any particular things we wished to see. We told him we were interested in history and architecture and he based his tour round those topics.

Niccolo really knew his city and was very enthusiastic in his presentation. He showed us some wonderful buildings and hidden gems you simply wouldn’t find on your own, especially in the old town which is a tangle of narrow medieval streets. We returned to some of Niccolo’s recommendations over the next few days for a longer look as the 3 hours with him went so fast.

All in all this is an excellent tour which was well worth the money in our opinion.

Our Guide Andrew was the highlight as he customized our tour to our interests and experiences. The 3 hr length was perfect for us. He brought the history of Genova to life.
