There is no tour leader to follow 24h or a group to be with all the time. You will travel independently on a fixed itineary we have created for you with pre- booked activities included in your trip with our local guides for you to meet with other travellers, organised transport and accommodation booked in our partner hostels. Plus our Italy on a Budget tours members will provide a 24h assistance also with maps and local info. This means that we do not require a minimum number in order to confirm the trip. At the end you will also have free time to do your own things or go out with the new friends made during our activities .
You only have to select your favourite departure date and we will take care of the rest!

Arrive at your accommodation in Rome by 15:00. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage safely until check-in time. Once settled in, you're free to explore Rome at your own pace. You might want to dine at a traditional Trattoria Romana, stroll along the historic Via dei Fori Imperiali, marvel at the illuminated Colosseum, or make a wish at the Trevi Fountain. Alternatively, you can unwind at your accommodation's bar.

Start your day with a guided tour of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Capitoline Hill, beginning at 9:00. After the tour, enjoy some free time for lunch and relaxation before heading to the Vatican at 2:30. There, you'll explore the Vatican Museums, gaze at Michelangelo's frescoes in the Sistine Chapel, and visit St. Peter's Basilica. The tour ends around 5:30, leaving you the rest of the evening to discover more of Rome's charms.

Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to Rome. Check out from your accommodation by 10:00. If you wish to extend your stay or explore more of Italy, consider booking an extra night or joining our 4-day Amalfi Coast tour or a day trip to Naples, Pompeii, or Tuscany.
