Our guide, Guillermo, was incredible. He was great at conversing with us and very knowledgeable about the places we were going. You can tell he really enjoys his job, and he made our trip so worthwhile.

I hesitated to book this due to the price. It was worth every penny. William, mama mia, was our guide. He was phenomenal! He made special photo shot stops. He provided sufficient time at our stops. The lunch at the Tuscan farm will be a fond memory for years. The food, conversation, and scenery were wonderful. I thought that the stop in Volterrra, at the alabaster shop would be a sales pitch. I was wrong. This was a stop to appreciate the artistry of an 82 year old man. This was one of the best tours that I've ever taken. Thank you. Jill and Larry from Michigan

The guide was very informative and very kind. We enjoyed our time in Volterra and San Gimanga. The countryside is beautiful and well worth the trip.

Marcos was a terrific guide. Knowledgeable and entertaining. Great lunch in the country. Better with a small group like this traveling in a smaller mini-van.

Organised through Viator, very grateful to them and Tuscan Escapes for getting me in at short notice when a similar tour booked through another provider was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
Would highly recommend Tuscan Escapes and this day trip in particular. Great day, lovely towns, plenty of time to look around. Our guide, Keko, was a wealth of information - not only about the places we went to and their history, but about life generally in the region, the climate, soils, agriculture etc. He really made the day. The lunch out in the countryside was delicious. Seeing alabaster worked by one of the few remaining traditional craftsmen in Volterra was a plus. Couldn't find any fault with this day trip.

Wonderful day from beginning to end. The group was small, three 60-something couples, and we all got along well. Our guide, Gulia, was interesting, well-informed and friendly. We went to a number of great locations in the Siena region. Among the highlights: traditional lunch with a family that operates a small vineyard; a visit to beautiful Volterra and meeting 84 year old Omero, an alabaster artisan. The tour was well paced with free time to explore the major locations. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful day with Guillermo on a family tour. We had an amazing lasagna lunch at the il palagione winery. We laughed all day. Thanks and Guillermo so sorry my wife stole your wine.

We had a great experience. The highlights were our awesome guide, Guglielmo, and lunch at Carmela’s house, which was 5 stars! Guglielmo is a human enciclopedia of history, as well as great humor. In addition, he was most helpful to me when I got car sick, very caring. Between San Gimignano and Volterra, I take Volterra.
