There were a number of options for this sort of trip so we evaluated each one and selected this one based on the small group and travel on excellent Swiss trains. It proved to be the right choice, not to be on a more cramped bus for large parts of the day. Our guide, Oleg, was very knowledgeable and gave us wonderful insight at every stage of the trip. We were also given free time at every location to explore at our own pace and were even given suggestions on where to eat. Communication and organisation before, during and after the trip was superb. We had a fabulous time and would recommend this trip to anyone, and Abroads Tours for any other trips they do. Thank you!!!

If you don't like doing cardio on your one day trips, but have a perfect balance of the experience- new information-free time and value of money, just book this trip. Stefano provided us a very interesting trip where we didn't feel like tourists with a guide , but rather a group of people who know each other and spending some time together. A small group format is absolutely worth it

Fantastic day on this tour. Our small group was well taken care of and Stefanio gave great suggestions on places to eat and things to see during our free time. We never felt like a typical “tour group” and we were able to see many unique things.

To start, I really appreciated the confirmation and communication before the tour, and clear instructions on the meeting point! Stefano was well organized, and we moved throughout the day smoothly. Being in the small group setting is always more enjoyable, and it’s nice to meet other like- minded travellers. From the train transport, to the boat ride, and our free time, the day was perfect. Stefano had great links and suggestions for restaurants and what to see in Como and Lugano. Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

We had a group of 4 booking with Stefano for a day trip up around Lake Como and further on to Switzerland. It was a brilliantly planned day out with a small group of us being able to enjoy every aspect of the tour, with Stefano being a genuine, very knowledgeable guy!
There was a lot of free time to enjoy each location with a boat trip on lake como being the highlight of the day. Highly recommend this to anyone thinking about booking.
